Finding the human story in the technical details
In 2018, I began my writing career as an entry-level SEO writer for a now-defunct company called Content Equals Money. In that role, I spent eight hours a day writing thousands of words for vastly diverse clients—think a listicle for an HVAC company in the morning, an e-book for a dietitian’s website in the afternoon, and a white paper on cybersecurity solutions for the trucking industry at night. This work was high-volume and challenging, but it provided me with a foundational education in B2B & B2C content strategy.
After that agency shut down and the CEO fled to South America, I’ve leveraged this experience to elevate my practice and sharpen my focus. Today, I specialize in writing for highly regulated industries, collaborating with marketing professionals to develop content for tech companies, law firms, financial institutions, semiconductor manufacturers, and many other high-profile clients. I’ve also worked extensively in the DTC/B2C spaces, crafting copy for a digital diabetes prevention platform and a ketone supplement startup.
Below are a few samples of my recent writing. I’m in the process of compiling a larger archive of my professional work, which will be available to view here. If you’d like to see samples tailored to your industry and desired brand voice, I’d be happy to oblige—just shoot me an email!
